Ekene is a youth engagement, peace and security, social movements, and social development specialist with over ten years of experience working with youth-led organizations, not-for-profits, and civil society initiatives. He is experienced in project coordination partnership development, and customer/donor relations, has intriguing interpersonal skills, and is competent in Communication for Development (C4D). He also works at the intersection of humanitarian responses and the development of emerging technologies in crises. He co-founded the Center for Youth Advocacy and Development (CEYAD) in 2017, with a theory of change anchored on supporting local youth groups and movements on continuous learning, people power, and social change, through non-violent grassroots actions. Currently, Ekene sits at the board level, advising on strategy and partnership development
