About CEYAD:
CEYAD is a non-governmental organization officially registered in 2017, dedicated to empowering and supporting movements of ordinary citizens through continuous learning on non-violent actions and peacebuilding. Our mandate encompasses supporting youth transitions to adulthood through skill-building and entrepreneurship while promoting a culture of peace, good governance, and social justice through social inclusion, advocacy, and citizen engagement.
What You’ll Do:
As a volunteer or intern at CEYAD, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in meaningful projects and initiatives aimed at fostering positive social change. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals and passionate individuals dedicated to making a difference in the community.
Your tasks may include:
– Assisting in the organization and coordination of workshops, training programs, and advocacy campaigns.
– Conducting research and analysis on relevant topics related to peacebuilding, social inclusion, and youth empowerment.
– Supporting community engagement initiatives and outreach efforts.
– Contributing to the development of educational materials and resources.
– Assisting in administrative tasks and project management.
Requirements:
We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who are committed to our mission and core values. Ideal candidates will possess:
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– A passion for social justice, peacebuilding, and youth empowerment.
– Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
– Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
– Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
– Relevant educational background or experience in social sciences, development studies, peacebuilding, or related fields is preferred but not required.
